In Spain, Industrial Engineering is traditionally a multidisciplinary degree. It begins with a strong theoretical foundation in mathematics, physics, and chemistry, followed by applied courses focused on techniques and technologies. The core areas are Mechanics and Electricity, with additional subjects such as Electronics, Chemistry, and others.
For my studies, I chose one of Spain’s oldest and most prestigious engineering schools: ICAI – Comillas Pontifical University in Madrid. The curriculum I followed was defined by the Ministerial Order of February 12, 1996.
My final grade was Upper Second Class (Notable), and my Master’s thesis (Design of a Multi-Line Brushcutter) was graded Honours (Sobresaliente).
