My background as an engineer working in different countries and languages gives me a unique perspective—and makes me the ideal choice for your technical translation needs. 

Technical translator

I have 9 years of part-time experience (1999–2008) and 17 years of full-time experience (since 2008) as a technical translator. My main areas of specialization are electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automotive, energy, and civil engineering. Beyond these, I’ve translated a wide range of technical texts. In the past 17 years alone, I’ve translated over 16 million words for 122 clients in 24 different countries. 

Electromechanical Engineer

I hold a Master of Science in Engineering from ICAI – Comillas Pontifical University in Madrid, one of the top engineering schools in Europe (graduated in 2003). After finishing my studies, I worked for five years as an electromechanical engineer at Red Eléctrica de España. During that time, I wrote countless technical documents—and often had to commission translations. That’s when I realized how hard it is to find truly competent technical translators. In June 2008, I left my job to become a full-time freelance translator.
